William Ryan listed his Subaru Impreza L for sale on nasioc.com and I immediately made an offer, set up a dialog and scheduled a time to inspect the vehicle. The car is an MY96 AWD Subaru Impreza L sedan with manual transmission and EJ22 NA boxer motor. Unbelievably, this is the exact platform I was looking for to start the project.

The SCDA race school was absolutely amazing! Overall, we spent less time in the classroom and a little less time on the track than was originally promised, but the event was completely worth the $185! Quite a few Subarus showed up to represent NASIOC and we had a blast playing cat and mouse around the track.

Fishguy posted an initial preview of images he took at the event, then webkris posted an official update with high resolution images on clutchdrop.com. Unfortunately, clutchdrop.com is going through some updates so the images may not be immediately available. In the interim, photos of Sean can be found in a temporary folder.

Sean competed yesterday at the Smith & Wesson SCCA autocross in Springfield, MA. Results have not been posted yet.

Trunkmonkey Racing sends their condolences to the families of JOSEPH DELUCA and LINDA GRONLUND, members of the Northern New Jersey SCCA Region who were passengers on United Airlines flight 93 which crashed in Southwestern Pennsylvania on the morning of September 11, 2001.

Keith’s final report is in from Nationals. He placed 16th in GS and 4th in the Subaru ranks. Final results have been posted by the SCCA.
